The Company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on October 11, 1922 under the Indian Companies Act, 1913 to carry on mainly agency business and to take part in the management , supervision or control of the business or operations of any other company in the capacity of acting as Managing Agents, Secretaries & Treasurers or Agents thereof. Later in the year 1970, the system of Managing Agency and Secretaries & Treasurers was abolished by amendment in the Companies Act, 1956 and the then managed .companies of this company became independent

Presently, the Company has been under the management and supervision of its Board of Directors and is mainly carrying out the business of letting out premises, dealing in shares & securities, rendering maintenance & other services to its tenants, granting of loans, investments etc.
